Intro to Nosework

Unleash your dog’s natural scenting abilities in this engaging and rewarding class designed to develop their hunt drive and nosework skills. Using food searches as a motivating tool, this course introduces foundational scent detection techniques while building your dog’s confidence, focus, and problem-solving abilities. Through structured exercises and games, your dog will learn to locate hidden food rewards, navigate various search challenges, and build concentration and persistence in different environments, including containers, interior spaces, and outdoor settings. This class is perfect for anyone looking to strengthen their bond with their dog through fun enrichment or lay the groundwork for future scent work sports. Open to all breeds and ages, no prior experience is required.

• Dog should be at least 3 months in age. 

• Dogs must not be aggressive towards humans. 

• I highly recommend that the dog is food motivated.

You will need a flat collar, martingale collar, or harness with a back clip for your dog to wear while searching.
